Emphasizing and building their interest in grassroots development, Sporting Clube de Goa launched their own football academy on August 16, 2013 on the occasion of the 198th anniversary of founding of Don Bosco.
The academy, build in line with the senior team philosophy, accommodates children between the age group of eight to twenty years distributed in six different categories (U-10, 12, 14, 18, 16 & 20).
With a focus to shape future talent and capture them at a young age, Sporting Clube de Goa academy take pride in nurturing, guiding and training kids not only from Don Bosco High School, Panjim but also from surrounding areas.
The club has factored the technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects in our curriculum to ensure all-round development that is so essential to the overall success of the player.
Vision
The overall concept of Sporting Clube de Goa Football Academy is to educate, inspire and nurture, each player to maximise their full potential through quality coaching sessions and development.
The academy aims to provide the opportunity and exposure to be able to help player make a smooth transition to professional football
